What do you see when you're in the bath? Do you have a great view in one direction a vista, or none at all? Personally I'd orientate a single slipper bath toward the view, and if possible have the plumbing at the side (if the bath is sitting in the open) so as not to interfere with the views. If the bath is against a wall I'd have the plumbing at the lower end so I wouldn't have to lean over it to turn the taps on.

Hi Annie We get asked about the weight of freestanding baths all the time as people assume they will simply be too heavy to move around for cleaning purposes, which may be the case with a solid stone bath. I would say this is to short. Your bath should be 150 mm from the wall + 75mm standard splash you are at 225mm. The water would land on the edge /rim of your bath. But do not fret. You could install free standing a timber shelf. Above bath for soaps etc and then have the spout mounted onto this? Or just get a new spout?

I love these Roman/Asian style baths, My favourite but I would make the front side high and wide enough to sit on and use this to get in and out of the bath, the wall side make flush to save space. Mosaic tiles for the tub and perhaps back wall. Not necessary for sloping ends. Great safe baths for showers as well, love it Use a shower curtain
