I love a good design challenge & you CAN make this sink work for you! I don't know what your design aesthetic is, but I see this working in a contemporary or transitional style bathroom. For the sink, choose an under-mounted model & place it beneath a 1-1/4" thick, solid surface countertop made of engineered quartz such as Silestone or Zodiaq. Mount your faucet to the wall & you've made a design statement! Cabinets doors can be slab for contemporary, shaker for transitional. Just be sure that your vanity is deep enough to accommodate this sink. You can always order a kitchen sink base & modify it for the bathroom. Standard rule of thumb: - kitchen cabinets are typically 24" deep & 36" high - bathroom cabinets are 21" deep & 34" high Good luck! ~LMM

you can't beat white, it goes with everything, clean and crisp looking, my choice would be fridge top and freezer bottom, better still two separate side by side, if there's room, keep a thermometer in both to check on temp, as the ones in the appliance are usually not accurate,, and check the lights, mine are always flickering on and off when i open the door, buy one with wheels so that you can pull it out to clean

I only mentioned the wood thing as I think your flooring is a fantastic statement piece in itself so would either maintain the tones up the wall or maximise it with simple white lines and lighting but I am a minimalist at heart! Not a professional designer and am simply just providing an opinion. Honestly the choice is yours as far as blending light and dark, just consider the tones with each as sometimes they clash - but if that's the look your going for than all good!! :-) Maybe just start by moving the TV to the wall - you'll see a huge difference in just that. Make sure you get the height right for the best viewing otherwise you'll kill your neck! It may be enough for you to reduce that 'bare' feeling your getting before doing anything else.

Agree with Doh. I've painted kitchen cupboards to sell a house. It's a hard job, and you need to take off the doors and do it outside , as you need to use oil based glossy paint that smells (it's the hardest wearing. ) Since the doors are off anyway, send them off for the 2pk, as that's the hardest wearing.
