Personally I am quite fickle and get bored easily so a colour splash wouldn't work as they are costly to change... If your wife isn't annoying like me that's fine... If she is maybe a more neutral colour (silver) stainless or even the mirror splash with navy accessories that can always be changed easily ..

Love the sofas - nice midcentury style with the angled legs, great colour too! If it were me? 1)Big colour art work on wall 2)Chrome lamp (arc) in corner that adds height but also provides a sort of "canopy" to frame the sofas and link the space 3) Floor rug - sisal? Textured? Perhaps a lighter tone/neutral to offset the navy and timber floors? - I love putting a larger sisal area rug under everything to link the space and group the furniture. Then I add a more textured/soft rug to add layers, textures and interest. The larger rug acts like a picture frame for the elements in your living area. 4) Coffee table - maybe round so little ones don't get hurt? Also provides movement and contrast against the straight lines and angles and ties in with the arc lamp. 5) finally, pillows and throws in chosen contrasting/ pop colour. Take that from your artwork! 6) clock in kitchen. Doesn't match midcentury design of sofas, but thats just me!

Green Room Interiors I have also been looking for the perfect navy colour for my kitchen and have finally selected Dulux Antarctic deep for my lower kitchen cabinets and white for the overhead cabinets. I am still a litte worried it will just look grey. Do you have any suggestions to make the blue sing? decorating or lighting? Thank you, I know that this is an old thred but I just discovered it!

HI I have used "atlantic" from Porters. It is not as navy, it has a little more charcoal grey but definitely go have a look at their samples. If you can go to the store, play with the 1000s of options to choose from. good luck, I love love love dark walls. it will be beautiful !
