Probably plain block coloured cushions would be best. You may consider deeper blues, greys or a mustard. Comments (17)Personally I love angles & splays, BUT they have to have purpose and be functional. Without seeing more surrounding context hard to comment but i can't help wondering why this all being so squeezed in one area, but then almost wasted/under-utilised space in-between the island and the table - it's like the pantry's boxing/internalising the kitchen which is not ideal.....either way I'd make sure that it flows and is functional and not awkward anywhere...See MoreMonument or Night sky for wide fascia?

You can get paint tinted to both those though and try them out and see what you think, we did exactly that recently when trying to choose a new roller door for our place, we ended up with night sky. Comments (2)Marble, real or faux, would not be my choice for flooring but Dulux Snowy Mountain 1/4 or White on White to be suitable. They are cool-ish whites that aren’t stark. Feature walls can be dated so consider if you really need one. I’m with your Mother and do love Natural White but you are right in saying it won’t fit well with the flooring....See MoreLeigh James
