Hmm

The master bedroom in my previous home faced north. Floor to ceiling window getting full sun during the day, and a street light directly outside at night. So, an exterior shutter, internal blind and curtains allowed light and heat control for various times of day and season. The master bedroom in my current home also faces north with a floor to ceiling window, but no street light. On full moon nights though, it shines right in. Once again an external blind controls light and heat, and interior blind and curtain gives me options for different times of day and season, eg. we love the sun coming in during winter, but not summer.

This idea keeps the existing Powder room, , if you still wanted others to have access you could add a pocket door between the WIR and bathroom thus making the toilet temporarily separate. The pocket door entering the bedroom would slide back to the dressing robe side and not behind the double shower

I hate crocs , and I doubt I'd have a Mickey Mouse picture or 3 , but I like the mix and the tones . In New Zealand , we have an artist called Dick Frizzell , who has done some awazing work mixing iconic pictures with Maori inspired art . I have a signed and numbered copy of this print ( it's called 'Mickey to Tiki' , so even the name is clever IMO ) , but this pic is the artist and the original . That's as close as I have gotten to having a Mickey Mouse pic as far as I can recall . I looked at Anna Spiro's website , and the more colourful makeovers she has on there aren't my taste -- they are toned down and pastel in most cases , and way too busy for my liking -- one had over 40 white framed colourful pictures on a mint wall , way too arty farty for me , but then theres tables crammed with bright 'spined' books , heaps of chairs and cushions and rugs and all sorts . Definitely better than having brown furniture , but definitely not may taste .
