Sun Light Tunnels can be installed afterward but, depending on location the tunnel may have to be angled to avoid roof structures, there is a minor risk of leaks and they can be expensive to install... if you only need a small non ventilating skylight, i strongly recommend you research Solar Skylights that are cheaper to buy, can't ever leak water or heating and are much simpler and cheaper to install as there is no need for a hole in the roof and can be installed by an able bodied handyperson.. we have a 45cm square one in a medium sized bathroom and two 30cm round ones in a bigger room and the only problem is getting used to not needing to turn off the "light" during the day and i believe that some Solar Skylights can include a light fitting and/or can also be installed on a wall
