Comments (12)I love a good design challenge & you CAN make this sink work for you! I don't know what your design aesthetic is, but I see this working in a contemporary or transitional style bathroom. For the sink, choose an under-mounted model & place it beneath a 1-1/4" thick, solid surface countertop made of engineered quartz such as Silestone or Zodiaq. Mount your faucet to the wall & you've made a design statement! Cabinets doors can be slab for contemporary, shaker for transitional. Just be sure that your vanity is deep enough to accommodate this sink. You can always order a kitchen sink base & modify it for the bathroom. Standard rule of thumb: - kitchen cabinets are typically 24" deep & 36" high - bathroom cabinets are 21" deep & 34" high Good luck! ~LMM...See MoreBathroom/laundry combination?
Comments (11)i love my drop in tub with under bench washer and dryer but you need at least 1800mm width to make that work. Tracey's suggestions with the built in shower, stacked washer/dryer and bench with drop in tub with wall cabinet or shelf look ideal but only a plumber can really say what's possible and then you have to decide if the expense is worth it... much simpler would be to try wall mounted shelves or cabinet with doors and an open bottom shelf for "pretties", cut a hole in the back and side to make room for the power point and to feed the cable through out of sight. The wall cabinet would balance the look of the dryer and create some extra storage for minimal cost nb a 900 mm tall unit should be OK but make sure it's mounted high on the wall to match the top of the dryer and allows room to open the lid of the washer...good luck with it...See Morewhat tile to use in bathroom with painted mexican sink
Comments (6)Thanks for the input! do you think that subway or 6x6 tiles would be better in the shower? Im not sure why but i was thinking that the 6x6 might be more consistent with the style of the basin. Dark blue or light blue for the accent tile in niche? Its a VERY small bathroom which was why I was leaning towards white floor. Trying to make it feel bigger. But maybe thats an error. This is the floor tile that I was considering. Too busy? I have to admit I like the dark blue tile of the last photo that Dreamer posted alot but was worried that a dark color would not work in a small space....See More1 sink in main bathroom on the side?
Comments (9)Mirror to go full width so the full vanity is utilised. No use having a mirror just over the basin, everyone using the bathroom will be standing behind each other doing their teeth, hair, makeup. A mirror the full width would allow three people to stand at the vanity at once....See MoreUser
