Dark grey roof. You could keep the windows neutral which would be subtle and clean but you could also accent them if you wanted them to stand out more and match the rod colour... Another option you could consider is dark roof and a lighter shade of grey for the window frames... I have attached a few quick photos sorry I've done this from my phone so not the best.. Terracotta roof tiles. Then you could either go with steel greys and blues, varying shades and tones of terracotta or a combination of both. Have included some Dulux colours showing how versatile terracotta can be to perhaps give you some inspiration...

Thanks for your insight, yes I'd looked at Surfmist as well, clients seem quite pro grey so trying to subtly work their likes into the scheme as well, as I think they woule like a grey house however I think the monochrome black / white is classic and will endure the test of time longer than some shades of grey, also if they were opting for white windows may be more inclined to look at grey for the house colour however feel that the black windows will work nicer with the lexicon and tie in the black elements.
