Maybe your builder could insert two basins into an existing Hamptons style buffet. You'd have to consider how it would perform with moisture around though. I've seen some buffets on www.hamptonsstyle.com.au. I'm not sure if they are suitable. Good luck with your project.

A three way bathroom can cost twice as much to tile than one large bathroom, ( sometimes more, depending on your tiles, there is a lot of cutting, it is in fact 3 rooms , each with its own tile bed, if you are doing it yourself, have a tiler give you a quote before , if you are having a professional business renovate in Sydney about $ 30K for all labour only. for a 3 way , this should be about $ 22/ $ 24 K for one large room, with nib wall vanity to toilet, niches to shower and bath, anything cheaper we would have doubt about quality of waterproofing, tiling, sound insulation To make a decision, go and sit on the edge of your bath by yourself and visualize your finished bathroom. one large ( less expensive room, ) or three small rooms. ON paper ideas can be appealing. Buying at the place where trade buys can keep cost lower. e.g Kaldewei Eurowa made in Germany steel bath 2.5 mm thick $ 400 You state it is your master bathroom,to us your master bathroom should have the look, if you go to sell your home this could make/ break the sale. Is your final photo of the vanity you already have? I also thought adding legs would take it back to the MCM you are after. Would be interesting to know how the silver drawer pull is attached. Not sure about painting it matte black as I thought timber furnishings were more prevalent then, but it's totally your choice. I hope you will post updates as you go. I just love mid-century.

Hi Stacy, as you are building this is the right time to install what suits you and the space. Sconce lighting at eye level is the perfect position for putting on makeup, if this is where you do put on your makeup. So you want to keep this area uncluttered. Will you use the tower for medicine and other 'unglamorous' supplies? If so, you'll probably want them hidden so cabinets behind the mirror would be a good option. However, if you want a tower to display lovely items, could you recess a tower to your specifications in the wall? Now is the time to measure the space and design a solution that fits your lifestyle.
