White-matte cabinets (flat panel, not shaker) and white bench (or maybe epoxy sealed marine ply??...siriuskey can tell you about that), mirror splash. Love the ceilings. I personally would go for a modern, stream-line, no handles, integrated appliances look. This space has real potential to be very cool, even with the slate. It doesn't need any more more texture or darkness. This is a nice kitchen, you should be able to sell it on ebay.

I would be asking questions from the person who said that they needed to be an extra 120mm wide. Do they actually know how wide a LED strip is? Or have they got confused with a fluro light? This is a 300mm narrow overhead cabinets with LED strip lighting concealed behind a pelmet over the central island bench. I also used the same LED lighting strip above the curtain pelmet shining upwards, and the wall mounted overhead cupboards. "Needs to increase depth to 420mm" translates to "I could not be bothered to do something that needs a bit of extra work and thinking to make my clients happy so I will try and change their minds". Happens all the time in the building industry with many old-school types not wanting to change the way they have been doing things for 100 years, so it is easier to distract the clients.
