Is that couch able to be split into 2 and made L shape? Or can it be rotated 90 degrees to face cabinet? Would be more convenient to have dining closer to kitchen.
You need to draw up a floor plan and measure out your couch and table to see what fits. A rectangular table would be best.

Why can't you keep using the the setup at the end of the living space, you could have bifold doors put on large center section to close off when not working, The office chairs could be swung around to replace the current chairs or on over side of this, going by the photo the dining room won't be straight forward to close off

If you are able to remove the couch modules as you said, it may be worth thinking of rearranging to work like this, then you would have room for your table. You could always repurpose ottomans in other parts of the house.

Agree with siriuskey’s suggestion. Use the end of room already set up, as your office. Even hang a floor to ceiling curtain in a beautiful fabric across that built in area to close off when not in use. To have the office area right next to the kitchen will not be easily to be shut off. When working from home, you need to be able to switch off from work. Therefore closing doors or curtains can make a good cut off point to return to leisure time.

If the lounge is modular it would be able to be made into any shape using the ottoman pieces.

You also have chandelier over the dining table. If you set up as a office, then the chandelier may be in the way when walking through that area depending on how you are setting up that space for a desk etc.

Thank you for all the comments, everyone! The office space/desk at the end of the room is NOT an option to be my office for other reasons. Therefore, I will have to add a dining table to that space on the picture somehow. The other option is to create an office inside my master bedroom what I feel it is not a good idea. Thank you again for all your help!

Also, the dining room that I am planning to use as my office is on the other side of the house. It is not in the picture.

The table you see on the pictures is a breakfast nook and it is a small table. I need a dinning table for family dinner etc. I will try to send more pictures when I get home so you can see it better.

No need for more pictures.....what is needed are the dimensions of the living room to understand what will fit. But I think question has been answered by Julie Herbert photo of a rectangle table and your modular sofa rearranged.

Have noted all the measurements are in foot and inches. In Australia and New Zealand, which is the HOUZZ site your on, work with metric, metres and centimetres. I have converted the 22 foot and 4 inches to approx 6.8 metres. Therefore you have plenty of length and width in the room to set the room up with a rectangle dining table and rearranged modular as previously mentioned.

I'll offer another suggestion .

I assume you have a TV somewhere along the wall where the sliding doors are ? Take out one shelf at the end of the lounge -- the one that has the word Home on it -- redistribute everything or move some to other rooms etc . Put the TV there .

Then swing the couch around and make it almost a natural break . At an approx guess , you'll have somewhere around 1.5 metres extra , so probably move one end of the couch towards the wall , giving somewhere to walk through .

That then leaves about 1/3rd of that area for dining .

Having said all of that , like others , I still can't understand why you want two eating areas side by side , surely the logical thing is to have 1 eating area , using the largest of the tables etc ? And on that vein , and the fact that there isn't a TV in view or on the plan , is it possible you also have another lounge or family room or rumpus room etc somewhere else too ?
