Help! Staircase advice please

I'd love some design advice...we've raised our renovated cottage which has lovely polished wooden floor boards. Under the cottage we're building the new open plan area which will have lighter coloured vinyl plank boards. My design dilemma is what to put on the nose/tread of the stair case which will join the two floors? I can use the vinyl plank nose which flows from the bottom and have the floor change from the top. Or choose something neutral like white staircase with a stair runner or a contrasting black staircase?? Any recommendations welcome.. the ground floor isn't built yet but I've put some pictures to best show the colours.

This is the top floor polished wood floor boards:

This is the type of stair case we'll have (e.g. pretty much straight up), I like the white with the wooden look top and the floor boards might be a similar colour to this below picture:

Would the same tread as the bottom floor work best to join the two? Or something like white or black that doesn't match either but still joins the two?

Thanks!
