Which ceasarstone would you pick?
Comments (2)There are so many beautiful colours of caesarstone. I had an all white kitchen and chose the night sky black with the sparkly bits as my benchtop. It was stunning.. Showed the dust though. Would still do it again lol.. when you love something you can wipe it lovingly... however back to you... there are many whites but I would definitely go for something with a hint of colour in it.. you could see if they have one that has the Calacutta stone look.. That is incredible. http://www.caesarstone.com.au/colour/5131-calacatta-nuvo#?photo=6dae2ad8-fcac-4435-8568-06db850f8c45....See MoreWould really appreciate some help picking exterior paint colours
Comments (4)Hi did you end up painting your house snowy mountain half with snowy mountain quarter on the trims? Are you happy with the colour? Does it look white or does it give off another tint? I'm considering this exact colour scheme for our Hamptons style house....See MoreWhich colour should I paint the exterior of our house?
Comments (2)When you say Peninsula, where do you actually mean? I like the colour you have now. So repeat that or just a shade darker. Fabulous looking home and location....See MoreWhich exterior colour scheme?
Comments (12)It needs a lift , but I agree with everyone else -- the roof isn't the problem . The garage doors need a lift , so the darker colour would work , or even changing them to timber . In some ways , that would be a waste of money , but probably similar in price to painting the roof , and I know which would add the most to your house ! I can't see the front door , but maybe paint that and make a feature of it , or change to a natural wood to match the garage doors -- but only as part of a complete theme . Kates idea of darker gutters is good , it adds a lift but also adds a 'break' in the height . Gardens would finish it , and with the lighter walls , a sculpture or even water feature in that ferro-cement ( with some marble content ) would add to it , as long as the gardens had some large green broadleafed plants , some rustic grasses , a cactus , some red leaved plants , maybe a glazed pot or two . Some people would expect me to say red , orange or yellow gutters and garage door , and that would work , and stand out -- but here's an off-the-wall idea -- how about doing the roof in an almost terracota orange , as a nod to the days when orange tiles were all you saw in some suburbs ? I'm guessing this is a newer area , and probably doesn't have many orange roofs -- the light walls would wear this look well IMO !...See More101d
