Cushion suggestions

I’m looking for suggestions on where to get some couch cushions please. Couch is dark grey. Need to incorporate the wall art. Everything else is pretty neutral. Carpet is darkish grey

It’s a very dominant painting, you can either add bold colour or go a hint of neutral to soften the room, add a feature cushion that picks up the red, a lovely throw and gorgeous lamps on your side table, try temple and Webster, Adairs, west elm and freedom have that lovely lamp.

If I remember, you are in Perth. Living Emporium have a massive range of cushions. They used to have a shop at the success shopping centre, but no longer. Check their website. You may have to travel to Joondalup etc. Adair’s, bed bath and table, king living, coco republic, all have cushions.

Hey L thanks for the comment I want to do something on the wall next to stairs where the switch is Those mirrors are for this wall Actually when I enter my house I see only 2 things one is this wall and the other straight at the back where the dining is This entry wall is 1 m wide...thinking to put these on that wall but they would look very white? I would get an upholsterer to do a couple of long foam cushions for the seats - colour would very much depend on the rest of your home, but teal would look good there (and so would navy).

hi Jen, What you have done sounds lovely, I understand things can get really busy with colour, I am a neutral person so go with mainly creams and stone colours and white, maybe you could pick up more of a neutral colour scheme and only add the yellow from your painting in say a bowl or vase, white and stone look great together , sounds like we are alike as I dont like things too busy and in your face either, its a lovely big room maybe tone down to blend with tiles and curtains, lots of textured cushions and throw could look better than too much colour, more restful on the eye too.

I think you need some darker artwork like graphics or abstract or B/W prints to ground the place and charcoal fluffy cushions instead of white . You could do a gallery wall with prints in black frames and a floor lamp.

I would actually move the painting across to the right hand side of the wall. Add some height to the left of wall, like a tall plant or a plant on the side table. For me it’s too symmetrical at the moment.

Playing around with colours, I don’t think you can have a solid colour cushion. I think you need a cushion that incorporates different colours from the dominant painting.
