Cass Brothers at Petersham and Waverley have a good selection of Methven, Dorf, Parisi and others. I've always selected Parisi tapware for bathrooms, kitchens and laundries - I've never had any problems with them and they've been very high quality. The brand is Sussex,,,made in Australia with 15 year warranty - Very good quality. Yes..they also come in black and gold...but I will be sticking with chrome :) Thanks all

100% Retro, and it ultimately depends on the design/vanity/basin set-up. Wall mounted advised if counter top like image above, however bench mixers can fine with inset or under counter basin set-ups. If you want to minimise risks just makes sure it's done well and corners are not cut - I wouldn't be worried about this and if it's good quality not a reason "not to do it. No different to having a shower mixer in the wall - if it goes wrong yes you'll have an expensive repair but this rarely happens with the good gear - hence avoid false economy and invest in the right areas to minimising project risk ;) PD

We went to Bathrooms by Design in Lonsdale SA last week. I cannot compare prices as it was the first bathroom shop we went to however they did tell us their products were mid range. Good luck.
