Help with paint colours!
Comments (9)Yes I agree the colour of the room should be in greys but maybe in a darker hue. The big faux pas is the sectional, it is just too big and overpowers the room! Maybe concentrate on a couch and chair combination but in neater proportions, add a rug in contrasting design and colour, not a block colour, and then take a couple of these colours for cushions on the seating. A coffee table which is streamlined maybe with a glass top and a painting or mirror over the fireplace will complete the picture. Good luck....See MoreKitchen Help - What is this space for?
Comments (23)Make the most of the era and the exposed bricks. Put in a large skylight and fit wall garden system to "green up" those bricks and larger pots on the base. The brick base is perfect to hide the drainage system you'll need. Get a steel fabricator to weld up a drip tray to fit inside. Mesh over the top covered in your choice of pebbles or a sheet of CoreTen rusty steel laser cut to a design of your choice. Some Balinese statues maybe. Comments (1)You could add beautiful wall art, choose identical frames like black metal, or for something unique try wood artwork, try west elm, even a laser cut screen painted to a colour to suit your room, could look fabulous....See Morecontrast paint colour
Comments (9)You could paint it the same colour as the tile. Your stove and wood beams then become the focus. With a base of black, white and wood tones you can accessorise with anything you like- pastels, brights, texture or warm metals in items such as small appliances, storage containers, fruit bowl, tea towels, crockery ... Lots of versatility that you can change up whenever you like....See MoreSonia
