What type of plants
Comments (16)Be aware that artificial turf can get very hot underfoot. You could lay a narrow old brick or limestone paver path to clothes line for easy access and plant ground covers or low profile herbs (eg.oregano and thyme) to use in cooking. Hardy herbs or flowers such as rosemary, lavender, geraniums against the edges of the space toward the back. Even add some large long troughs of flowers on the retaining wall to pretty up the area. It looks like it could get quite warm there but maybe a jasmine or similar climber to climb up a frame attached to the part of the large wall where there is no clothes line. Good luck, it will be a lovely space I'm sure once you get started....See MoreFront Garden/ Entry Advice
Comments (12)Hi there the second photo I posted is to show what could be done, as you mentioned leveling the lower part of the garden. If you were to use a bobcat to push all of that soil to the top and right hand side of the garden it could be planted similar to the second photo, This would give you a bit of privacy from the street. As per the first photo large formal planters beside the driveway and large floating concrete steps beside that, plus lawn and formal garden planters close to the entrance. It would be far cheaper to keep and use the soil than to have it removed. You may need a low retaining wall below the new mounded garden cheers...See Morewhat’s wrong with my plant?
Comments (1)hi could be over watering, stick your finger in say 5cms if it is moist dont water, only water when you feel the soil is dry , they like to be moist but not wet, the stems seem to be rotting due to being constantly soggy, you could always take problem leaves and stem for advice from a nursery, but I would definitely hold back on the water, good luck....See MoreWhat plants to use around pool
