How about a light grey. I dont think anything dark would be attractive.

It could be a halogen bulb that pulls straight out. Maybe protect your hand with a face washer/dish towel and see if it pulls out. Hope this helps.

In that case you need new ones. Try and get your Donna cleaned at each change in the seasons. I don't bother cleaning pillows, replace every six months or so and always use with a quilted pillow protector which is washed regularly, so can't recommend a time period for those.

Surface rust isn't reason to replace a roof, as it can be treated and repainted. Leaks can be simply from the nails loosening over time. What condition is the roof in overall? Is it in really bad shape, with humps and hollows and creases from being carelessly stomped over? Are the flashings bent out of shape or rusted? If not, replacing the leadhead nails with screws and new neoprene washers may be all you need. A steel roof can last for over a hundred years if maintained well. I would not dive in and replace now unless things were seriously sad, if you are extending in a couple of years.
