Comments (5)Hi Claudia I love your material choice so far for your new kitchen. Tiled splash backs are certainly on trend and allow you to add that pizzaz. Glass splash backs are a little dated in my opinion. Tiles are always fashionable and add texture and interest, you don't necessarily have to choose a coloured tile as this may date in time. Comments (6)Hi there, Have you ever heard about the 'work triangle' concept when designing kitchens? https://www.houzz.com/magazine/how-to-set-up-a-kitchen-work-triangle-stsetivw-vs~1042314 It is essentially about connecting the three main elements of the kitchen: the fridge, the cooker and the sink. As a rule, to achieve an efficient layout the triangle formed by lines linking these three elements should total 3.6 -6.6m in my experience. Will the microwave fit inside the pantry? (hole drilled in side wall of cabinet for the cord to plug in with the fridge?
