Lindy, Why dont you do a computer image of the outside of your home like you can do with digital decorator and play with some schemes. You would instantly know if you like it or not!! Otherwise as Luke suggested, you need to decide if you want to contrast or blend?? I would certainly start off with a blend, as changing it to a deeper colour later would be far easier than trying to go back to a lighter colour if you decide you don't like it. Deep Ocean can look stunning with Jarrah but now that you have Monument I think you really need to stick to Windspray if your window frames are that colour otherwise I feel you will be introducing too many colours and you will spoil the elegant look of the home. I am working on a tiny walk-in pantry for my new build; it is actually a pantry in a scullery, as most Chinese people do, I will use the scullery as a second kitchen (imaging the smoke and greasy fume from woking!) so I am desperately in need of a pantry to store (and protect) stuff. Our designer actually scorns the idea of a walk-in pantry in a scullery; anyway I've got only 1.0m * 2.2m space to work on. I need a worktop to marinade food (with hundreds of spices near by) and knead doughs for bread, plenty of shelves of different depth, and some floor space for tall things like steam mop etc. The picture is what I now fancy about: when the sliding door opens, I will have wide clearance at the back to work on the benchtop (deeper part 600mm, shallower part 350mm), shallower benchtop is used for small appliances, and shelves of different depths on the left and bottom wall. My husband laughs and says he'd never seen such an irregular pantry. Does it work at all? Any suggestion? Please!

Hi pallavi the cut out area would be great for the marble table. A large round mirror above it (i just bought one from freedom at a reasonable price). Maybe a hanging macrame pot plant in the corner (hanging from thr ceiling) where ur current plant is......this would be a vocal point as soon as people walk in. Yes a piece of artwork on the opposite wall would be nice to balance both sides. Hope this helps you alittle to get ur creative hat on and just go for it. the only problem is there is no storage as u wanted but you can always put a nice bowl on the console for u to store keys.
