This is a question I face almost every time I talk with a customer when quoting a Bathroom renovation. Agree that it is overdone...like the tram/rail/bus stop posters...the keep calm posters...cow hide rugs...hard to say what will grab the attention of the trend setters as mass marketable? Of course anyone who loves these items should have them as it is all down to personal taste. I prefer 2nd hand shops now for finding unique one off pieces fairly cheaply & these days & I feel good about recycling someone's cast offs as well! I found a lovely old copper platter recently & the store owner said "where did you find that?" I found it on the floor under a chest of drawers in a dusty corner & my heart skipped a beat when I saw it was only $10 & perfect for an empty spot I had!
