Probably Monument would be better suited to the panel lift. The Dark bronze would suit if you want more of an aged look.

Your door supplier should have given you colour swatches of any of the Colorbond range of colours. The samples are relatively true to colour and you can quite decisively use them to narrow the choice down. Check out the Colorbond range of colours on our website (scroll down to "colours" and click on them) http://www.asapgaragedoors.com.au/garage-doors. Consider Ironstone as a first choice which looks like the blended colour of the driveway, or Woodlands Grey, Basalt, Jasper or even Monument. Keep in mind that lighter colours will stand out more against the brickwork while darker colours will recede and the doors will not dominate the look of the house. The white-backed curtains are a good example of how colour can be a distraction. On first glance at the photo, the curtains stand out. I would change the back of the curtains to a darker colour. If you can't find a Colorbond colour that suits, you can elect to have the doors powdercoated in any Dulux colour.

Hi, Looking at a new 6.8m wide door, have seen the Axolotl and Corten Metal door finishes in photos, but not in real life. Cost aside, anyone seen one or even have one orhave an opinion ? Im on the Mornington Peninsula and think that the sea air might add nicely to the Patina . cheers Jon

We just had quotes for garage doors and they started at $6,000, then go to $10,000 and the next price point is $15,000. It depends on the type of materials you are using and the door opening. The guy quoting showed us one that was similar to your first photo and had said it was $30,000. All in all, they are not cheap. it was useful to have someone out to quote and help with the options.
