Comments (42)What a beautiful tile! Rule of the tump - always match the grout to the tile. Specially with such a strong patterned tile, otherwise the grout also becomes a clashing pattern. I'd pick light grey to avoid pure white cleaning issues. It has made such a difference and I think (fingers crossed) the landscaping will give it the finishing touch. We are reroofing the pergola, so will post photos when that is completed. Comments (9)You get what you pay for with carpets. A top-end synthetic carpet will be more expensive than a cheap wool carpet. Don't consider what it is made from, but how it will perform, and your budget, for your situation. I would be surprised if there are any highly flammable carpets available on the Australian market. Whilst most carpets will catch fire given enough heat, modern carpets are designed to resist ignition, and if set alight they are designed to resist further burning, and in most cases a patch of burning carpet will extinguish itself in under a minute.
