Die Küche mit Ess- und Wohnbereich ist in verschiedene Bereich aufgeteilt, die auf Grund Ihrer Farbe und der Materialien optisch miteinander verbunden sind. In der Küche sollte, wenn möglich, ein Barbereich, eine Kochinsel, Hochschränke, Stauraum und ein gemütlicher Essbereich entstehen. Das beleuchtete Regal verbindet den Küchen- mit dem Wohnbereich. Die Sitzbank sowie das TV-Sideboard wurden ebenfalls aus den Küchenmöbeln geplant. Ein Schlafsofa in hochwertiger Ausführung dient sowohl für den Alltag als Sitzmöglichkeit als auch als Übernachtungsmöglichkeit für Gäste.

We completed a luxury apartment in Primrose Hill. This is the second apartment within the same building to be designed by the practice, commissioned by a new client who viewed the initial scheme and immediately briefed the practice to conduct a similar high-end refurbishment. The brief was to fully maximise the potential of the 60-square metre, two-bedroom flat, improving usable space, and optimising natural light. 

We significantly reconfigured the apartment’s spatial lay-out – the relocated kitchen, now open-plan, is seamlessly integrated within the living area, while a window between the kitchen and the entrance hallway creates new visual connections and a more coherent sense of progression from one space to the next. The previously rather constrained single bedroom has been enlarged, with additional windows introducing much needed natural light. The reconfigured space also includes a new bathroom.

The apartment is finely detailed, with bespoke joinery and ingenious storage solutions such as a walk-in wardrobe in the master bedroom and a floating sideboard in the living room. Elsewhere, potential space has been imaginatively deployed – a former wall cabinet now accommodates the guest WC.

The choice of colour palette and materials is deliberately light in tone, further enhancing the apartment’s spatial volumes, while colourful furniture and accessories provide focus and variation. Photographer: Rory Gardiner

Conçue comme "un bel objet" la cuisine se veut comme un point focal de la pièce principale, tant sur le plan esthétique que le sur le plan fonctionnel. Le blanc et le bois des meubles lui donnent un ton chaleureux et contemporain. Les carreaux aux motifs japonisants gris-bleu (en crédence) rappellent la belle teinte orageuse qui habille les murs arrière et latéral et forment une scène pour mettre en valeur la cuisine.

Nos missions sur ce type de projet sous souvent les mêmes : optimiser les espaces, créer des rangements et apporter personnalité et cachet. Les propriétaires de ce duplex situé en périphérie de Lille nous ont fait confiance pour créer un intérieur qui leur ressemble. Longeant le canal de la Deûle, cet appartement traversant de 110m² bénéficie d’une double exposition idéale. Pour répondre aux souhaits des propriétaires, notre architecte a imaginé des espaces aux couleurs pop telles que le bleu, le jaune ou l’orange. Porte verrière dans l’entrée, cuisine avec îlot et coin repas banquette, menuiseries semi-mesure, papiers peints panoramiques illustrés, salle de bain terreuse et coin bureau viennent sublimer ce bien dans lequel on se sent particulièrement bien.

Alex Maguire Photography - Our brief was to expand this period property into a modern 3 bedroom family home. In doing so we managed to create some interesting architectural openings which introduced plenty of daylight and a very open view from front to back.

Brick, wood and light beams create a calming, design-driven space in this Bristol kitchen extension. In the existing space, the painted cabinets make use of the tall ceilings with an understated backdrop for the open-plan lounge area. In the newly extended area, the wood veneered cabinets are paired with a floating shelf to keep the wall free for the sunlight to beam through. The island mimics the shape of the extension which was designed to ensure that this south-facing build stayed cool in the sunshine. Towards the back, bespoke wood panelling frames the windows along with a banquette seating to break up the bricks and create a dining area for this growing family.

Compact, open‑plan kitchen‑diner with crisp white cabinets and a pale blue mosaic splashback. Open shelves soften the run of units, while a round tulip table and slim chairs create a comfortable dining spot without crowding the room. Layered rugs and a simple, neutral palette keep the small Dublin apartment bright, calm, and easy to live in.
