Bastings St.

Ardent were engaged to design an extension and renovation to a period weather board house. We utilised recycled brick to tie the project together.

The main feature of the house is the double height volume in the living area with expansive glazing for natural light.

We wanted the upstairs walkway between the retreat and the bedroom to have a connection to the down stairs as well as giving us a two storey void to the new main entrance to the house from the side street.
