A 1920's house in the heritage-listed Golf Links Estate. The estate was originally the Camberwell Golf Course which was subdivided in the 1920's. There are very strict covenant and planning controls in the estate which influenced the design. The project brief was to extend the house create childrens bedrooms and bathroom, modern living and kitchen area, study, power room and laundry for a family of 4 while making it seamless externally. A great deal of care was taken in resorting original elements of the house such as the terrazzo font porch, detailed chimneys, internal timberwork and rendered moldings to the garage.
