All the original house details were replicated to ensure a seamless integration of the extension. The timber windows were all double glazed with low-e glass removing the need for blinds or screening.

Special attention to detail was paid to ensure that the extension was seamless to the existing house. The external window architraves conceal the edge of the bagging to the brickwork for a neat finish.

As part of the extension the concrete paths were paved over in slate. The rickety side gate was replaced with a custom designed archway wall with curved topped gate.

The interior space was designed to be generous in size so as 3 x three seater couches could be accommodated while comfortably walked around.

The TV is recessed into the wall above the fire place for subtlety. The joinery on the right is for display so has mirror backing and internal lighting. The sunroom connects to the outdoor entertaining with a curtain style mesh screen to allow for vision and breeze without insects. The roof over is motorised so can be used as a sun shade or full roof being waterproof when closed. It provides the best of all types of roofing year round.
