Ardent were engaged to design a modern extension as part of restoring a period house. The concept was create a large volume that felt much larger than it actually was and allowed masses of natural light in.

The large external sliding doors create a feeling of continuous space from inside to out. We utilised doors with built in drainage in the sills so we could have no step between outside and inside.
