BDA Australia Design Awards 2016 - Dual Occupancy (Up to 2 Storeys)

My clients' wanted to build their final dream home whilst maximising the ocean, town and mountain 360 degree views. By incorporating the slope into the cleverly resolved split level design this four storey with a modern specious internal lift to all areas maximises internal/external living opportunities and has evolved with an intriguing street presence. A palette of low maintenance selected materials complement the detailed interior of this home incorporating a 14metre solar heated suspended lap pool which joins seamlessly into the indoor/outdoor living area with the module providing ease of access to an amazing 'walk in pantry'. This detached dual occupancy development with new dwelling and repositioned to rear existing dwelling, has grid connect solar power and solar hotwater system installed on both homes. The rear home over looks tastefully onto the bush with a northern aspect, water tanks, roof ventilators, shading to windows with insect enclosed screens to decks.
