The family bathroom traverses the old and new areas of the home. The shower and toilet alcove was conceived with light flooding and cascading down those waterfall coloured penny rounds. A shade of blue was selected from the mosaic tiles and applied to the vanity joinery with further storage behind the mirror above. An undermount vanity sink and an in-drawer rubbish bin have been included for a practical response to this hardworking space. Photography: Tatjana Plitt
