A kitchen designed with a beautiful combination of hand-painted cabinetry and warm wood stain, creating a timeless contrast throughout the space. The island is finished in a rich wood stain and complete with banquette seating, bringing warmth, texture and character to the room. Above the mantle, the matching wood-stained cupboards tie the whole design together beautifully.

Designed with family in mind for kitchen extension. Custom made kitchen, handcrafted at our workshop in Guildford, Surrey. Every inch of storage was thought through. There are 24 drawers, a breakfast pantry and glazed drinks bar cabinet. The oak table was designed and stained to bring the whole scheme together with the vintage Barristers Bookcases, a much loved family heir loom.

Burlanes were commissioned to design, create and install a fresh and contemporary kitchen for a brand new extension on a beautiful family home in Crystal Palace, London. The main objective was to maximise the use of space and achieve a clean looking, clutter free kitchen, with lots of storage and a dedicated dining area. We are delighted with the outcome of this kitchen, but more importantly so is the client who says it is where her family now spend all their time. “I can safely say that everything I ever wanted in a kitchen is in my kitchen, brilliant larder cupboards, great pull out shelves for the toaster etc and all expertly hand built. After our initial visit from our designer Lindsey Durrant, I was confident that she knew exactly what I wanted even from my garbled ramblings, and I got exactly what I wanted! This kitchen diner was reconfigured, and a seperate laundry room was added by making some internal changes to the ground floor of this family home. The main kitchen units feature an mock in-frame in a pale sage green with a visable grain. All coooking appliances are in tall units opposite a sizable island with vented hob and seating. A stylish drinks-bar section was created in a complementary baby pink using plain slab doors and finished with a bespoke reeded glass splashback colour matched to the walls.
