This beautiful modern style coop we built and installed has found its home in beautiful rural Alpine, CA! This unique unit includes a large 8' x 8' x 6' chicken run attached a half shed / half chicken coop combination! Shed/Coop ("Shoop") measures 8' x 4' x 7'6" and is divided down the center to allow for chickens on one side and storage on the other. It is built on skids to deter moisture and digging from underside. Coop has a larger nesting box that open from the outside, a full size barn style door for access to both sides, small coop to run ramp door, thermal composite corrugated roofing with opposing ridgecap and more! Chicken run area has clear UV corrugated roofing. This country style fits in nicely to the darling property it now calls home. Built with true construction grade materials, wood milled and planed on site for uniformity, heavily weatherproofed, 1/2" opening german aviary wire for full predator protection

But perhaps the 'cherry on the cake' is the outdoor plunge pool - the ultimate in glamorous camping!! Laying in the pool or next to it on a warm summer's night as you gaze at the stars is a memory which is sure to remain.. The airstream is perfectly suited both for singles and couples - and provides the ideal setting for romantic or solitary retreat. The surrounding scenery is stunning, and there are plenty of nature trails and treks to be explored. Owner Trevor lives close by, and is always happy to lend a hand with trip planning and advice etc. A 20 minute walk down the mountain track will lead to the nearby village of 'Alozaina' - a typically Spanish 'pueblo blanco' which has retained much of its rustic charm. Life is slow here, and not to be rushed! There are several tapas bars, cafes, and a couple of decent restaurants, as well shops and even a small supermarket. Further afield, there is much to explore. Nearby excursions include the historical town of Ronda - and the oldest bullring in Spain, the elegant city of Malaga, Seville, Marbella & jet-setting Puerto Banus, and the picturesque 'pueblo blanco' of Ojen. Car hire is essential in order to fully enjoy the area. If you have any questions about the glamping experience, or the airstream itself - please ask. I have a good knowledge of the local area, and a deep love for the mountain - affectionately known to the locals as 'magic mountain'! The design approach was to create an enigmatic feel by camouflaging the building with the background. The unit was clad in vertical timber strips that were designed to fit within the garden and natural surroundings. The imagination was to bring life to a poetic expression: green grass below, and the blue sky above, and the outhouse at this threshold. garden studios are ideal places for working from home during the coronavirus pandemic.

With the intention of creating a ‘dark jewel’ to give space for work, children’s play and practising yoga. Neil Dusheiko used clear burnt cedar – Dento Yakisugi in a ‘hit one miss one’ system creating natural yet mysterious vibes in the garden area. Using traditional Japanese techniques Shou Sugi Ban makes the cladding resistant to rot and fire. The finish on the cladding can only be controlled so much; this allows the texture, colour and grain to show their true character. The carbon finish can’t be affected by sunlight as it is a colourless element. Inside the studio they have used a light in colour birch plywood. This gives a brilliant contrast to the exterior.
