University Park

Traditional Dining Room, Dallas

My client wasn't enthusiastic with the existing dining walls but wanted to keep the draperies at they time they purchased this home in University Park. To add pop and a little drama to the dining room, we painted the walls an Aubergine selecting the tone from the printed draperies, which created warmth to the room and gave the room a sense of elegance. Using her existing English mahogany dining furniture added further richness. Because the Foyer was so open with two story ceilings, the wall color in the Foyer needed to stay more neutral as there was not a cut off point, therefore we needed to step up the Dining room for some contrast.
