Impala just completed this stunning kitchen! The brief was to design a kitchen with warmth and impressive textures to suit the house which spanned over four levels. The design needed to allow for casual eating in the kitchen, ample preparation and storage areas. Utilitarian bench tops were selected for the preparation zones on the island and adjacent to the cooktop. A thick recycled timber slab was installed for the lowered eating zone and a stunning transparent marble for the splashback and display niche. Joinery was manufactured from timber veneer and polyurethane. Critical to the modern, sleek design was that the kitchen had minimum handles. Two handles were used on the larger doors for the fridge and lift-up cabinet which concealed the microwave. To balance the design, decorative timber panels were installed on the ceiling over the island. As storage was also a priority, a walk in pantry was installed which can be accessed at the far left by pushing a timber veneer panel.

Bespoke wine rack crafted from walnut and solid brass bars. The glazed doors on either side of the wine wall were crafted from Accoya wood and finished in house with Farrow & Ball Railings.
To finish off this centrepiece, an antique mirror effect wallpaper was fitted on the back wall to create a sense of opulence and to reflect light around the room. This beautifully complimented the stunning Nero Marquina stone worktop and the Armac Martin solid brass handles on the doors.

The kitchen is the heart of the home for some individuals. However, others find the privacy of a bathroom or bedroom their sanctuary. In this case, what is typically home to Mr Henry the hoover, the CCTV alarm and wet brollies has now become an iconic, under stairs custom wine display. The displays signature Vinomagna features include warm LED under lit shelving and all the concealed built in climate control functionality.
Standing at 2.5m tall at its point of highest elevation. The custom under stairs wine display is finished in moisture resistive timber core and aluminium profile single glazed doors. Wrapped in a matching oak veneer, this display is another show-stopping design delivery of unused and once unloved space. Furthermore, the custom made antique brass door pulls further accentuate the luxury feel. Stand in front of the floor to ceiling doors of this custom wine display design and pull to expose the internal beauty.

This gorgeous Turramurra kitchen displays the best of both modern and traditional features. It exhibits the warmth, character and grandeur of a traditional kitchen whilst maintaining all the trappings of modern kitchens.
When Art of Kitchens were commissioned to design and build this kitchen, the home was yet unbuilt making it important that our kitchen design closely adhered to the Traditional/Modern style of the proposed home. “We needed to work with the idea of what the complete project would look like rather than using the existing frame for inspiration,” said Kitchen Designer David Bartlett.
Keen entertainers, the homeowners wanted a kitchen that could be filled with family and friends without the space feeling overcrowded. Featuring multiple working zones, a large scullery for preparation and cleanup, high ceilings and overlooking a tranquil alfresco area, this large kitchen works perfectly for large groups.
The high ceilings created a sense of airiness and allowed for ample storage space with tall cabinets. The addition of open shelving and breakfast bar resulted in a stunning open plan, functional kitchen that is perfect for entertaining that ties well into the overall aesthetic for the home.
The end result was a runner up in the 2017 HIA CSR NSW Kitchen awards.
