Find the Paint Colour Seen in a Photo!
Do you often see photos on Houzz and fall in love with the colours shown? Here's how to find a matching paint shade
Life’s too short to spend hours searching for the right paint colour for your decorating project. If you see a shade you like in a Houzz photo – be it on a wall, a piece of furniture, or anywhere in the photograph – there’s a quick and easy way to find the closest Wattyl colour to match.
The Colour Picker tool will appear on the right-hand side of the photograph. Click on the ‘Show Paint Colours’ button and it will activate the Colour Picker tool.
Up to five hot spots, marked as + signs, will appear on the photo you are looking at. These hot spots can all be dragged around the photo and whatever they land on, they will identify the closest matching Wattyl paint colour for you.
These five colours will also appear as a list on the right-hand side of the photo. Here, you can click on an individual colour to go through to the Wattyl website and order an A5 colour swatch.
And, you can save the paint palette to an Ideabook on Houzz, to use as a reference during your home improvement project… as well as to share on social media.
