“We had a flood in our basement in March, 2012, I called Mary Weimer, owner of Desert Designs Interiors, after I realized that I would need to make an insurance claim. She helped me with the Insurance. When the Insurance adjuster came to check the damage, Mary was here to make sure nothing was missed for the insurance claim. I wanted my basement to be very attractive, and comfortable, most importantly healthy eliminating all mold, mildew, and future problems. Because of my allergies, we used low VOC paints, soy based foam insulation, and soy based carpet pad. As we got into the project, we did find move work that needed to be done, including a large Japanese bathroom with showers, and a half bath. We decided to take care of all the work and gut, correct, change, and bring everything up to code. Mary told me she wouldn't let me make any mistakes with the choice of materials, designs, and installation of what we needed to do. I'm very glad that Mary worked with me and gave us wonderful guidance. Mary's employees were professionals, and very accommodating to work with. I'm very pleased with the outcome of our healthy, new living space which turned out to be very attractive and unique.”
