“Rodney was a great addition to our renovation project. Translating our requirements into accurate and detailed visuals and helping us to identify some things we didn't think about or consider. We are so happy with the end result. It turned our 2 bedroom semi detached house in to a 4 bedroom without having to go to a second level. “I engaged the services of Anna from Studio Urbo to assist us with renovation of our townhouse: two bathrooms, kitchen, study, and lounge room. Anna was professional, prompt and creative. She exceeded our expectations. She not only created new layouts, helped choosing modern materials, finishes, colours, and fitouts but also designed a kitchen that became more spacious than the original one and created more privacy in our lounge room – a result we thought was impossible without moving walls and breaking our budget. We are delighted with the end result and have no doubts recommending Studio Urbo.”

He was able to draw out why we had chosen certain elements and then proposed alternatives that enhanced many components of our build. “Susan added so much more value as a designer than just the overall design of my new ensuite. She helped in choosing fixtures and fittings that allowed the maximum use of space. She checked the builder's quotes and highlighted points that required clarification. Consequently there was no confusion with respect to what was required of the builders and my own expectations, ensuring the project progressed smoothly. Susan’s attention to detail along with her understanding of my needs were exceptional. Her suggestions, such as, mirrored shaving cabinets for extra storage, a magnifying mirror for make up application, adequate shelving for toiletries, and lighting modifications to brighten the room ensured that I now love spending time in my ensuite! Thank you Susan!”

“Perusing Houzz's designers, Robert King's designs stood out as the most appealing. He designed a large extension of about 184m2 + carport which had to blend in with the existing house for us. I think he did this admirably as the sloping roofs were a bit of a challenge. The connection between the main house and extension works well too. I found him to be very helpful throughout the process, referring me to pre-building consultants, town planners, etc, giving me an idea as to what to expect beforehand. He checked documentation for me and assisted with any questions I had. I would describe him as an absolute professional; thorough, painstaking, meticulous, careful and of course creative. I found myself relying on him more and more and he demonstrated patience and calm when dealing with my countless emails. We hope to start building on the 1st February 2021 so I haven't see the design realised yet, but our builder and structural engineer complimented us on and approved the design. The building should be completed in July 2021 and we look forward to living in our new home. I can definitely recommend him as a reliable and trustworthy designer with integrity.”
