“We were very happy with the design that Michael provided. He has a particularly good knowledge of how to use existing space and we were thrilled with his ideas of how to incorporate several existing rooms into the new design. The sketches and documentation that Michael provided were very detailed and of high quality. His attention to detail was noticed by a number of builders who used the drawings to create their quotes. Michael made the early stages of our renovation process easy, by explaining each step clearly and in terms that were easy for us to understand. The costs for each stage were explained thoroughly, so that we knew which fees needed to be paid and when. He answered our endless questions with patience as well as a high level of expertise, which made us realise we had made an excellent choice. The job ended up being successful for us, because Michael listened to our responses and suggested minor changes along the way. This resulted in a refined set of drawings and we were able to choose a builder to suit our needs and within our budget. Michael’s prices are reasonable, and not as high as several designers that we considered. He put in a lot of effort to make sure we were happy with everything, and continued to check on progress as we moved forward with our selections through the builder. We would recommend Michael to anyone who needs expert design work from start to finish.”

“It is a pleasure to be able to recommend Greg Bond of Atelier Bond to provide architectural design services. We worked closely with Greg to design our family home and recently moved in! The brief was to design an upgrade and extension to an early 1900s villa preserving the character of the original home at the same time linking it to a modern open plan extension to meet the needs of a young family. Greg was thorough in his ground work to understand our needs and wants and provided innovative suggestions to maximise space and light and minimise cost. Greg provided advice regarding the Council approval process and when we faced difficulties with Council approval (due to poor handling of the application by Council) Greg provided fantastic support to get the approval for the design we wanted. Greg was flexible, patient and responsive and, importantly, upfront and transparent in relation to fees. Greg's attention to detail and commitment to ensuring we ended up with a high quality home that meets our needs was evident from day one and continued even beyond the scope of his formal engagement as he kept a close eye on our builder! We are absolutely loving our "new" home and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Atelier Bond.”
