“Tricia came into our project at a stage when we were struggling with all the choices we had to make. From selecting skirting boards, architraves and paint colours right through to designing the kitchen, laundry and bathrooms, Tricia was amazing. Tricia was willing to incorporate the features that we wanted into each space. With the building completed Tricia helped us with the finishing decorative touches that made our home not only functional but beautiful as well. “It has been an absolute pleasure engaging with Jung in designing our two townhouses. One of which we live in with our two boys. Jung provided an exceptional service in catering for our living needs and accommodating within our budget. Jung came and spent time respectfully getting to know the feel of what we want for our home and our tastes before making any suggestions! She then came up with amazing ideas for our living areas and bedrooms, reflecting my tastes perfectly. Jung was involved in designing the working drawings for our houses, choosing colors for the interiors, and helping us choose furniture. Jung’s use of space was mind blowing in providing practical interior solutions and making the most of the space for our needs such as creating extra room and storage which added great value to our townhouses. We found Jung had exceptionally strong communication skills and has this powerful ability to take everything we need in mind and bringing it to life. We could not be happier with the final product!”

“We hired Emme designs to decorate our penthouse and were very pleased with the results.Before proceeding , with her company,Emmy put our minds at ease by preparing a folio, showing us various materials, colour palette and fabric swatches to be used for our project. Emmy was very professional, communicated well, and was easy to talk to,understanding exactly what we liked…eg. we opted for a minimalist modern decor, for furniture ,T.V. cabinet, study nook etc.She had good contacts, and knew exactly where to source everything from, therefore saving us heaps. Emmy was very reliable and always kept her appointments on time. We highly recommend her for her knowledge and experience.”

“After a consultation, Natasha presented fabrics, wallpaper, paint, door solutions and general suggestions that were aligned with my preferences as well as the existing house design. Her solutions to my tricky window requirements were perfect and her suggestion on wallpapering resulted in my formal living areas transitioning form good to "wow". She was the project manager and chose trades people with impeccable work ethic and skill. Talk to Natasha if you want to get everything done that you have put off for a long time because you need inspiration and someone who can keep the project on track.”

“I originally approached Sally for advice on optimising the functionality of the outdoor space so that it became an extra room. The interior of my home is small and therefore I really needed another area to entertain. The workmanship on the decking is immaculate! I would't have thought to use the picture frame boarder but I admire it every time I am in the space. The next stage will be to plant out the garden beds, which Sally is also helping to arrange when I am ready. I have also always wanted plantations shutters, but thought they were out of my budget. Sally was able to use her industry contacts to obtain a price that was considerably less than the direct quote I received! I am so happy with the affordability, professionalism and genuine care that Substance Within Design and Sally herself have delivered. I would not hesitate to recommend working with Sally on your next project!”

“Denise, from DSDezines worked with my ideas about what I wanted for my spaces,and provided advice and ideas based on these, while also adding to them. She spent a great deal of time consulting me to understand not only what we liked, but also how we lived in the house so the pieces chosen were not only beautiful, but functional. Another thing I valued was that Denise kept the whole of the interior of my house in mind when planning how to furnish and decorate a room. This meant it was possible to focus on one room, or space at a time, while having an overall plan for the look I was trying to create for the whole house. I love my study, where I work most days. Denise can also access a good range of suppliers, with many options to choose from. She goes above and beyond trying to source just the write piece of furniture, or decoration. Overall, I found Denise and the service she offered helped to make the process of turning out new house into our lovely home exciting and enjoyable. I continue to use her service on an ongoing basis when I'm ready to tackle the nest project in the house. Thanks Denise.”
