She provides names and contacts of reliable tradies and firms, and is involved in the process all the way. It was Gillian who introduced me to the fabulous Houzz site, and together we built up a style file for the lounge area and the bathroom and powder room. She was able to liaise with the plumber so that we could understand what he meant with all the technical specs, and went around with him to make sure we were getting what we wanted when he came to measure and quote. Although we have not yet started the bathroom renovation, we have updated our kitchen dining area and it looks fantastic. I thoroughly recommend her services.”

“I'd seen what Xavier Hinde Interiors had done for my friend and thought they’d be able to help me - I had recently moved from a very large old house into a smaller more modern house, and I had pieces collected over a lifetime that I wanted to keep. John-Eric and Rodney were very sensitive to my needs, and respectful towards the pieces that I loved. But they were also very frank about what needed to be done to give my new house the much loved atmosphere of my old house, in a way that was sympathetic to the new house, and without making it feel small and cramped. None of the small details were missed – she picked up on power & phone point changes, odd cupboard handles, air conditioning controls & vents etc. that could interfere with the overall look or cause problems later. After living in the home for some time now I can honestly say I still love her colour choices and finishes. In fact we are planning to use Lurleen’s services in renovating our beachside holiday unit.
