Comments (12)I believe it is all about softening the look of this area & you will love it. I like the idea of the white flowing curtains, especially either side of a large mirror hung on those slats (which will reflect more light around & make the area seem more spacious). Put in a rug, comfy chair & small coffee table (a multi-use style with storage underneath that can be used as a side table & an ottoman). Then dress the area with an outdoor rug, basket (with a throw & cushions in it), some artwork, a pendant light, fairy lights, & plants (love the idea of a planter box along top of brick wall with some artificial plants hanging down). Add a mobile drinks trolley (with an ice bucket), styled with candles & magazines & you have a complete chill out zone....See Morebathroom dilemma recess mirror cabinet or mirror
Comments (4)have a shorter recessed wall cabinet for storage and if necessary have the balance of the space fixed mirror.....you should find something suitable at a fraction of the cost of custom made but strongly suggest that you don't have the vanity hard up against the glass screen (a gap is useful for hanging a hair dryer or hand towel and allows easier access to clean the glass screen) we've been disappointed with custom made vanity and wall cabinets which were more than twice the price and no better quality...See MoreFront entry dilemma
Comments (7)Hi Jane, I would do as you suggest. The door people use these fussy and yes sometimes beautiful doors and it seems a waste to put a screen in front. The decorative screens work well with a plain door or in your case glass door, and give security allowing door to stay open. Builders don’t add screens as it is more cost....See Morescreen door aesthetics...a dilemma
Comments (28)At least the Crimsafe doors won't take from any design features. What I will throw into the discussion is that you could put your screen door further out in the Entrance area (there seems to be half a metre or so in the photograph) and if they were double frames could latch back when required, rather than one large frame taking up all the space. Just ensure the area is covered, so visitors son't cop a deluge awaiting access. For added security, bolts could be attached to one side top and base and the other frame do most of the swinging....See MoreVeanne Willson
