Comments (7)Nice inspiration pics telperien, something like the laser cut panels & greenery would look great & break up the long expanse of grey block wall. If you like colour glennjo then rendering the wall in your favourite colour with maybe 3 spaced charcoal screen panels would look fun too! Or if you want to make the space into a seating area it could be a pretty inviting place to rest out of the sun (add privacy from neighbours too) with the addition of a sail or roof!...See Moreoutdoor chair revamp suggestions
Comments (2)Hello How about whitewash on the timber - a watered down acrylic paint - Porter's 'Popcorn' is a nice colour. this will still allow the woodgrain to show through, especially if you wipe the excess paint off while still damp. (Like the trunks of Greek lemon trees!) Then either plain grey outdoor fabric for a seat pad - buttoned like an old-fashioned mattress, with deep piping around the edges. Or ticking, in grey or blue, with the same format. Pad the back with lots of loose cushions in colourss that coordinate with the rest of the area - plant pots, flowers, deck chairs. Have fun....See MoreOutdoor patio area dilemma
Comments (6)Looks like the drain that the down pipe goes into isn't working as it should, over flows before water enters the drain. Love the random pavers, these could certainly be reused adding a few more to replace the bricked area all on one level as this would enable a better space for outdoor table and chairs. The pergola is tired and would be great if as you mentioned could be raised up a bit, depends on what the Body Corporate will allow, a couple of see through panels inserted above next to the building would help with light. A BBQ kitchen on the back wall, plus I would try to re swing the door back to it, the door gets in the way as it is, can it open inwards opposite the sink. Certainly keep the garden beds it will help soften all the hard surfaces, taller planting along the boundary will also add privacy cheers...See MoreBarbara Codrington
