Congrats, great potential. I agree that a grey like limed white would be great on the walls. The ceilings look lower than some 60s houses and painting both ceiling and walls in the one colour or 1/4 strength can accentuate the height of the rooms. White trim on the skirts and door frames are not too bland but those windows may look better framed with a darker trim. This colour palate will be a great canvas for you to add colour and texture that you indicated you like in furniture, baskets, throws etc. Suggest sticking to painting pre move in and once you've lived there a while you will know what you/house needs. Enjoy

Brilliant Messy Him is equally impressed!! OkLouise, I love your three suggestions!!! I am particularly keen to look more into the third one as I have always loved the layouts that have the amenities tucked behind the vanity.. I just didn’t think we could fit it in to ours. This is such a neat design, thank you. Siriuskey, “Brilliant him” made me laugh out loud. I adore the ottoman ideas... what luxury. And I would never have thought about going for the natural light and adding a little makeup area there would be absolutely perfect! I also love how you have zoned the toilet and vanity from the showering / bathing. Sooooo good! Thank you! Nic perhaps I could do both? Natural for daylight hours and hollywood for evening? I think that’s perfectly acceptable ;) We are meeting with our architect in the a.m and can’t wait to go over your ideas. I’ll be sure to post our final plans. Hello Louise, Hope you are well. Can I please ask a favor in updating the attached plan? Ground Floor: 1. Extend the Family living to include the Alfresco 2. Move existing kitchen+scullery to where laundry is 3. Current void is on Family and Meals - Need one large void to cover the new family area that includes Family+Alfresco 4. Store is not required 5. This plan is based to fit a 17 frontage, need the right to be trimmed 6. Entire plan needs to be flipped since my garage will be on right side First Floor 1. Need one additional bed to be created 2. Meals had a void, since the void is now moved to cover family+alfresco - can you please add a bed instead of void there and a balcony to be shared between Bed 4 and new bed created 3. Need a total of 3 bath on top 5. Bed 2 needs to be turned into a Master bed 6. Need to retain sitting, can loose the Activity 7.
