Hi Blufitch, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The four coffee tables are lovely, but I would probably opt for one of the two top ones. That being said, check the measurements first as these round tables might be significantly larger than your existing Ikea table. Re the potted plant, a taller one would be better, or you can put this one on a plant stand or even on a ceramic stool. But if you feel a mirror would be too much due to your mirrored splashback, leave the plant as it is and hang a framed print above the plant. It doesn't need to be big, but it's important that it s not too small so it doesn't look too "lost" on the wall. It's hard for me to judge the size from here, but a 70x40 frame might be ok. You could have only the yellow canvas above the couch, but you would have to bring in a few more brightly-coloured cushions or throw onto the couch, to compensate for the empty wall. Alternatively, you could also hang a large mirror above the couch. If you decide to do this, I think it would be best to move the canvas back to where it was, and hang the mirror in front of the window, so it reflects the natural light around and gives more depth to the room. The large Ikea Stave mirror (in white stained oak) is very reasonably priced and would work great. Just double check it fits first (it's 70x160)! Tell us how yo go! HI We had a dark brown leather sofa for 18 years! It was a beauty; made by Natuzzi. As it was a neutral colour I was able to make lots of changes around it - bright colours; then greens and there was also a blue phase! Brown has been ignored for a while, so it will probably come back really soon. Have you considered having a sofa and individual chairs that don't match? It's a more relaxed idea and you can mix leather and fabric - maybe cane chairs with fabric covered cushions - use some of that fabric as cushions on the sofa.

Hello Bluesky lounge is such a lovely name for a piece of furniture. I think your room only needs a picture or painting above the sofa containing the colours you have in cushions - and sky-blue!! Something dreamy and etherial. Make the picture almost as long as the sofa - or maybe a set of two pictures would work. Have fun.

I think a dark, heavy Chesterfield suite is wrong for this space. The room needs a sleeker, more modern sofa, in a lighter shade or a bright colour. I know lounge suites are an expensive item to replace though. I think a corner suite would be a good piece in this space and do away with the side table and lamps in the corner. The walls need some art - the mirror is decorative but does not add any colour to the very plain walls. The TV is massive and a very dominating feature. The dining table seems to be in an odd position in relation to the kitchen too. The whole space is very beige/brown and needs some colour to liven it up. Perhaps replace the cowhide rug for a large rectangle one with a colour and/or pattern.
