Hi Deco Everything that I have collected part from the dining set which was an investment has been from garage sales. So I am quite happy to part with everything... I think the most expensive was $10.00. My problem is that I cant focus because you are right. I just have too much going on in different styles. Going with the style of the dining table - where do you think I should head with rug choices from everything I am reading - it says I should zone out the room?? I am staying away from leather couches and heading towards a cotton fabric. I really just want the space to be comfortable. Thanks for the tip about the ideabook. The bath looks like it may actually be a custom made concrete creation. If you look for a professional who specialises in concrete bench tops, these professionals often also create other projects with concrete. A professional who specialises in using GFRC - Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete - will able to pour off-site, then deliver and install the finished product to you. The other option is a site pour. A site pour is produced in-situ, however, it is a messy process and the end product is very heavy and the ability to achieve a smooth finish may be reduced.

Actually, @annb1997, think we will go with white mosaic tiles!! The more we thought about it and the more opinions I sought the more it seemed sensible to run the splashback up to the shelf height ie the range hood height. That then became prohibitive for stone, glass or stainless - the tiles are a quarter of the price of taking stone to 300 mm, so 600 mm would have meant crazy $$. Also, we had issues with the thickness of the stone - initially we were told it had to be 20 mm thick, which was impossible with our 14 mm window architraves, but were then advised the stone could be ground back to 12 mm - but then you're paying for something you're not using and paying again to remove it!! Will post a photo with the mosaics in place. What a journey this has been! Moral of the story: quiz your architect about potential issues when asking for a U-shaped corner kitchen ...
