I had another idea over lunch. See what you think of this. I was thinking it might be nice to be able to invite people into the living area without having to go through the kitchen. This one opens up the back hallway and gives you a new swanky kitchen with an island bench. The old entrance is opened up and becomes a porch, you can reuse the windows elsewhere, try and save the framing as well, for example near the dining area. Now, I gracefully retire and look forward to seeing what you decide to do in the end. :)

Hi All, Piggybacking on this post for boundary fence colour feedback please. We have Colourbond Gully on the roof and a section of the house is painted to match. The rest of the house exterior is Dulux natural white (50%). Aggregate at front and back is Holcim acacia. Gully is not available as a fence colour so isn't an option. The garden will be started from scratch, so there isn't any current plantings to consider. I personally think Dune is a better tonal match but am worried its too light and wont make the plantings pop like Woodland grey would. I would let your natural elements shine ..match your wall colour to your classic white laminate and be lazy and paint the same for the ceilings so not to distract from your features or you could use your Caesar stone Urban as an inspiration and choose that colour as wall colour..ie go a bit lighter ..since you can play around with the colours as your room has lots of natural light .. Urban is a nice colour..brownish grey.. personally I'd just go white..
