I think cherry glass would cheapen it. Have you considered a mirror glass, don't know if I would like to maintain it but others here swear by it. Tiles like Earp Bros suggested look good. I also like the glass mosaics but they might be a bit blingy for your room. I went back to laminate for my new kitchen and I really don't think you can beat it - it just looks so clean and uncluttered, and better still, it doesn't break the bank. Congratulations on a beautiful job.

We've just put in a white splashback - we used Davco Colour Elite Grout (in the Marble Bianco colour - I chose it as it's not a really white shade....but you might want brighter white). It's supposedly more stain resistant and water resistant than the regular Davco, and not much more expensive. Also put a spray sealer over the top of that. Decided against epoxy given price but if you can do it, and are using an experienced tiler, I'd consider epoxy for sure. You wouldn't need to seal that and it's superior stain/moisture resistant. So far even Spag Bol sauce wiped off (....only been in 3 days!). Good luck!

I'm going to suggest these grey Montage tiles. I think the Como tiles are nice too. Dark grey will add drama and balance out the dark sink. The mixed tones will tie in the variations of grey and silver in the bench tops, appliances and glass door frames. The stone/slate look will add a natural element to complement the wooden floor and balance out the laminate. If you do go for colour, I like Bernadette's suggestion of complementing the glass colour. A tile that looks like pale jade might be nice.

Hi Priya, while Metaline has a place in the market and is excelent for Aluminium Door inset panels for outdoor Kitchens; this material can however be scratched, scuffed, or dented whereas Glass Splashbacks are far more resilient. You may also like to take into consideration what your visible edges will look like once installed, as compared to Glass which are Polished and finished to size. With glass; there is also the added benefit of being able to have Any Colour your heart desires, including Metallics. If you obtain a quote locally to you, using Glass Splashbacks (either supply only or Supply and install) and another for Metaline as Splashbacks ( cut to size and supply only, or Cut, Supply and Install), you should find there is very little difference in cost between the two products.
