White-matte cabinets (flat panel, not shaker) and white bench (or maybe epoxy sealed marine ply??...siriuskey can tell you about that), mirror splash. Love the ceilings. I personally would go for a modern, stream-line, no handles, integrated appliances look. This space has real potential to be very cool, even with the slate. It doesn't need any more more texture or darkness. This is a nice kitchen, you should be able to sell it on ebay.

I just googled & found this site, which quotes cost of R2.5 75mm. there are other suppliers as well. What was quoted to you for cost of roof installation, and was it itemised so you can see exactly what thickness the foil-backed insulation builder will use? I'm guessing the thinner (lower R factor). So, the new quote should reflect a credit for the cost of previous insulation, since it won't be used, then cost of thicker insulation added. Does that make sense? As said by big reader...leave white or paint the same colour, without the brushed finish, on the other walls. You can not bring another colour in. There is enough colour already with the orange wood and the bed cover. Also, the curtains look too small to pull right across your window correctly. They should be waved not flat when closed.

Hi, I agree and that it should be the ceiling colour but you could do a lighter shade of your wall colour for your ceiling colour (including the bulkheads) instead of ceiling white. Use Snowy Mountains Quarter. You will have a lot of shadows and less light on the ceiling, especially with the bulkheads, so a slightly lighter colour will help with that.
