I am wanting some help with picking a lounge for my lounge room.

Should I stick with the modular style couch? Or would another style suit?
We are wanting something that does have recliners.

I am wanting a brown colour couch as I want to stick with neutral colours in the house and then use cushions, throw rugs etc to add colour so I can easily change throughout the seasons.

Also when buying a new couch should I buy a new mat or stick with the one I have?

Below are photos of the space I am working with. Our lounge room is long but narrow.

Please note: the walls are 'mint' however they are being painted to white with a light brown feature wall on one of the walls possibly the one with the deer head :)

Also our home isn't modern :)
