Creative pantry ideas?
Comments (6)These are all great ideas. Thanks so much. We're going to see how we "fit" in the space at first. I hate to cook and my boyfriend does it so infrequently that we may not need a lot of room for a pantry. I bought this place more than 2 years ago and it's almost done (yep they took their sweet time). It was initially going to be just me, but it will be me, my partner and my borrowed cat. Haha... But I always wanted to start afresh so about 4 months ago (when there was about a month to go, they've since extended the completion date), I had a huge garage sale and sold or donated pretty much everything I own. We'll be starting anew and won't have heaps to store. Only about 2 months to go....See MorePoll: When you had a bad day, what would you do at home?

Comments (6)the big windows (can't see the actual dimensions) leave no obvious places for a tall storage unit convenient to the kitchen and dining area and removing walls is an expensive option that doesn't provide any additional space but, if you would be happy with the smaller entry foyer consider using the remainder of the entry hall for a pantry and have free standing cabinets for dining room storage ... the depth of the hallway would make an alcove too deep for a standard 450 -600 mm deep cabinet but would make a useful pantry and a convenient space to stash shopping bags and a broom and you could have a shallow alcove with a shelf on the entry side to make a space for some art or vase of flowers or something to give the entry a little bling?...See MoreHafele Tandem Pantry - do you have one?
Comments (3)If you have the depth (same as the fridge) a pullout pantry with adjustable wire or plastic coated wire ‘basket’ shelves are fantastic I find - great located between the cooktop and the fridge - there are some here: https://www.renovatorstore.com.au/kitchen/pantry/pull-out.html - All the sauces, oils, spices, open packets and so much more are easy to find in a tiny space....See Morepmabbutt
